Welcome to this space!

My name is Vedrana Vojković Estatiev and I have been teaching English to adult learners since 1997.

I currently work in edtech in the public sector in Croatia and do a bit of teaching online for the University of Zagreb.

I was previously part owner of a Croatian-based school called Octopus Language Services. Owners of small businesses will understand when I say that for the seven years I worked there, the school was a central part of my life. Whereas for many years everything revolved around Octopus, suddenly this was no longer the case – hence the name of this blog, which I started a year after I left the school.
